Our Programs - Engage

The Junior CHYK and CHYK programs for high school students and young adults with the essence of Hindu scriptures, equipping teenagers and young adults with ancient wisdom applicable for navigating today’s world.

High School Students (Junior CHYK)

The Junior CHYK program provides teenagers with an opportunity to engage with Hindu philosophy, and understand its application in today’s world. It prepares teenagers for life’s adversities as they learn to tap into their infinite potential, resulting in dynamic indivduals of integrity. These discussion-based classes are also a great way to connect with other enthusiastic youths creating a supportive, spiritually-inclined community.

Youth (CHYK)

The Chinmaya Yuva Kendra, or CHYK, program is for the youth seeking greater awareness and understanding of themselves and the world. Through questioning, reflecting, and discussing these intricate themes, CHYK classes strive to uncover the essence behind Hindu scriptures. The program delves into these ancient teachings and inquires about how they can help CHYKs grow out of their limitations and find fulfilment.

REGISTRATION OPTIONS

We host a range of classes nationally, across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth. To register, we offer a Family Program or individual CHYK subscription.

The Family Program entitles all of your family members to attend any of our Shishuvihar, Balavihar, Junior CHYK and Adult Gita weekly classes, with the option to pay annually or per term. For those in university or their early careers, the CHYK registration consists of weekly classes, paid per term.
