Governance

Chinmaya Mission Australia is committed to the highest standards of governance and the Board of Directors of the Australia Mission believes that good governance practices are essential to the wellbeing of the Australia Mission and all its stakeholder communities. The Board and its committees review and update Governance Practices regularly, oversee regular operations of the Mission, implement long-term strategic plans, identify risks and opportunities for the Mission, liaise with Chinmaya Mission Worldwide and with other Missions in other locations, and ensure that the Australia Mission meets its financial and legal obligations.

The Directors of the Board are appointed by the Spiritual Head of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide, Swami Swaroopananda. The members of the Board are as follows:
