Art of Parenting – Sunday 15th April
“Children are not vessels to be filled, but lamps to be lit…” Swami Chinmayananda
Modern life offers countless opinions and philosophies on raising children. Discipline vs. punishment, screen time vs. green time, academic vs. creative, traditional vs. modern… it can seem like there is an endless minefield to navigate.
As children grow older and their questions get harder, we look around desperately for the answers. With the internet at our fingertips, there is also no shortage on parenting advice and theories for toddlers or teenagers, but which one is right for me, my child and our family?
To remove this confusion, it is important to understand the individual child and equally important to understand ourselves. Attend this seminar to uncover insights and practical tips on raising confident and successful children while also creating a harmonious relationship.
Once the artist has a clear vision, he/she knows which colours will bring out the best in their painting. Come, join us to explore the “Art of Parenting” and let our next generation truly shine to become our best masterpiece.
This seminar will cover:
- Parenting as a team
- Parenting with vision and purpose
- Respectful and effective communication
- Bridging generational gaps
